His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, patronized the Annual Appreciation Ceremony (Ata’a wa Wafaa) in its fifth edition, organized by the General Administration of Human Resources in cooperation with the Department of Public Relations and Corporate Identity, on Monday morning, the 24th of Jumada Al-Akhirah 1447 AH.
The ceremony began with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a video presentation showcasing the sentiments of several honorees and highlighting their journey of dedication and service to the University. This was followed by the honorees’ speech, delivered on their behalf by Professor Dr. Omar Al-Nuaimi, in which he expressed the honorees’ gratitude to His Excellency the President of the University for honoring the ceremony on a day that symbolizes loyalty and appreciation for years of dedication and sincere service rendered by colleagues.
Subsequently, a poetic recitation was delivered by Dr. Jamal Al-Hamada, after which His Excellency the President of the University delivered a speech expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation to the male and female honorees for their devoted efforts and the profound impact they have left on their students and colleagues throughout their professional journey at the University. His Excellency emphasized that the impact of their efforts will remain present in every development and advancement witnessed by the University, wishing them continued health, happiness, and success in their future endeavors.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency the President of the University presented commemorative shields and symbolic gifts to the honorees, and commemorative photos were taken. The total number of honorees at the fifth Ata’a wa Wafaa ceremony reached (34) male and female honorees.
