The General Administration of Human Resources, under the guidance and patronage of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hilal Al-Talhi, held an open meeting for the university's employees with His Excellency the former Dean of Human Resources. His Excellency the Director General of Human Resources and the Director of the Promotion Department, at the University Theater to discuss ways to address the failure of job promotions.
His Excellency the former Dean of Human Resources, Dr. Majid bin Nayef Al-Shaibani, spoke in the meeting about the human capital development program announced by His Excellency the President of the University at the beginning of this year, from which the career advancement project emerged, which aims to promote (250) male and female employees during the current year 2022 AD. His Excellency explained that the promotion process at the university has turned from being a routine procedure that takes place every year to an initiative adopted by the university administration and seeks, through the General Administration of Human Resources, to Find solutions to speed up the promotion process.
His Excellency the Director General of Human Resources, Mr. Hamoud bin Badi Al-Harbi, also noted the support that the General Administration of Human Resources enjoys from the university leadership, represented by His Excellency the President of the University, to achieve the goal it aspires to promote (250) male and female employees during the current year, and His Excellency also addressed in the meeting some administrative and regulatory aspects in the promotion process and some aspects related to the Masar platform and the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations guide.
A brief presentation of the promotion procedures and processes and the associated legal aspects was presented by the Director of Promotions, Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Mohsen, and some clarifications and common questions related to promotions were explained.
Also, some male and female employees raised and discussed some questions, in addition to some issues and matters related to promotions.
His Excellency the Director General of Human Resources, His Excellency Mr. Hamoud bin Badi Al-Harbi, concluded the meeting by thanking the attendees, stressing that the process of developing and accelerating the promotion procedures continues throughout the year, reassuring everyone that the next will be better, God willing, and stressed that the administration is happy to receive any comment or suggestion through all channels of communication with the administration, asking God Almighty success for everyone.
