His Excellency, the President of the University, Professor Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim, presided over the annual honoring ceremony "Giving and Loyalty" in its fourth edition, organized by the General Administration of Human Resources in collaboration with the Public Relations and Institutional Identity Department. The ceremony was held on Wednesday morning, the 15th of Rajab, 1446 AH. The event began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a video showcasing the feelings of some of the honorees and a brief overview of their journey and contributions at the university.
This was followed by the speech of the honorees, delivered on their behalf by Professor Khalid bin Hudob Al-Muhidib, in which he expressed the honorees’ gratitude to His Excellency the President of the University. The speech emphasized that today's honor is not just a moment of appreciation, but a message of appreciation for every effort made and every mark left in this academic institution. Your names will remain etched in the memory of all who have worked with you or learned from you.
Afterward, His Excellency the President of the University delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation to the honorees for their sincere efforts and the great impact they have had on the hearts of your students and colleagues throughout your time at the university. The impact of your efforts remains evident in every development and advancement our university witnesses, wishing your health, happiness, and success in your future lives.
At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency the President presented commemorative shields to the honorees on this occasion, and photographs were taken.
A total of 30 honorees were recognized in the fourth "Giving and Loyalty" ceremony, including 10 who reached the legal or early retirement age, 16 faculty members nearing the age of 60, and the families of 4 deceased university members.
