The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hilal Al-Talhi, sponsored the annual honoring ceremony (Giving and Loyalty) in its second edition in the presence of the university's vice-rectors, a number of deans of colleges, university officials and employees, on Monday morning, Rajab of the year 1444 AH. The ceremony opened with verses from the Holy Quran, then a visual film was shown that included the feelings of a number of honorees, followed by a speech delivered on their behalf by Prof. Dr. in the College of Education and its former dean, Abdul Rahman bin Obaid Al-Rafdi, in which he expressed the honorees' thanks to His Excellency the President of the University for the initiative (Giving and Loyalty) stressing that this honoring ceremony has good and positive effects that will remain in the memory of the honorees. Then Dr. Jamal Al-Hamda presented a poem on this occasion. After that, the President of the University delivered a speech in which he welcomed the honorees and their families, thanking the honorees for their efforts during their work at the university, appreciating their long experiences that enriched the university, and wishing them a life full of giving and health. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Talhi presented the honorees with commemorative shields on this occasion and memorial photos were taken. The number of honorees in the second giving and loyalty ceremony reached (65) honored and honored, including (11) regular and early retirement, and (49) contracted faculty members who reached the age of sixty years, in addition to honoring the families of (5) deceased university employees, may God have mercy on them.
